Stock Manager, Prada Rodeo Drive Beverly Hills

Position: Stock Manager
Department/Function: Retail / Store Operations
Reports to: General Manager/Store Director (and functionally to Store Operations Area Manager)
Direct Reports: Stock Specialist, Stock Associate
Job Summary/Purpose:
Responsible for stock management in terms of KPIs, stockroom organization, ensuring Corporate guidelines and procedures are followed. Managing the stock team in order to assist the selling process, ensuring accurate inventory levels while minimizing stock losses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and plan the stock team’s activities, equally distributing the tasks and the responsibilities
- Provides all the necessary information and tools for the job
- Manages the induction of new joiners in the appropriate way (coaching, training, feedback, etc.)
- Manages performance assessment interviews with stock team, after liaising with the General Manager/Store Director.
- Trains, coaches, and supervises staff, communicating any performance issues to Store Management
- Must ensure securing stockroom facilities and assigned keys at all times
- Responsible for maintaining confidentiality regarding alarm code and ensuring stockroom is attended at all times
- Responsible for monitoring attendance and dependability for stock staff
- Ensures that staff members arrive to work on time and clock in accordingly
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment
- Follows and upholds all Company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Must maintain Prada standards regarding organization and cleanliness of receiving and office area
- Execution of all stock-related direction as provided by the Corporate partners
- Ensure the upload/download of all merchandise in correct and timely manner
- Ensure all transfers (in and out) entered into SAP at the time of processing
- Investigate and correct all receiving errors or inconsistencies
- Ensure the separation of goods by classification and back stock accordingly
- Ensures the preparation of products destined to the sales floor (anti-theft tag, pricing)
- Ensure the organization of product in the warehouse according to the set criteria
- Oversee the execution of regular cycle counts to ensure on-hand inventories
- Oversee the repair process
- Ensure the correct dispatch of goods to clients/warehouse/other stores
- Aids in all ecommerce platform distribution
- Ensures proper care of goods during the entire handling process
- Ensure the proper managing and ordering of packaging and office supplies
- Ensure the proper managing and protection of store visual props
- In depth preparation in the months prior to inventory, with high focus
- Work closely with corporate office team to prepare inventory (Store Operations Area Manager, Loss Prevention)
- Spearhead full inventory process
- Coordinate inventory schedules
- Reconcile all inventory results and submit to Corporate office
- Liaise with local store operations/loss prevention to keep track of developments (stock losses)
- Oversee and schedule all weekly cycle counts
- Compile all cycle count results (monthly) and send to Corporate
- Ensure all Incident Reports (“IRs”) are completed and communicated to store management
- Compile all cycle count results (monthly) and send to Corporate
- Liaise with Technical/Facilities Department
- Communicate all problems to Technical Department (Request painters, electricians, fixtures from Italy etc.)
- Monitor the progress of all requests, follow-up
- Monitor and report everyday store maintenance issues
- Communicate with Corporate office to ensure that all new hires have uniforms and that new season uniforms arrive in a timely manner and are promptly allocated per guideline; Monitor that terminated employees return uniforms prior to leaving the company, ensuring the end of season destruction of old uniforms
- Contributes to the team’s effort and supports store’s performance to reach sales target/budget

Physical Requirements:
- Lifting, pushing, pulling boxes without assistance
- Must be able to pack, unpack, and move stock when supporting back of house functions
