(Assistant) Talent Acquisition Manager

Mission
The (Assistant) Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for driving the full spectrum of recruitment activities across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines. This role partners business leaders and hiring managers to deliver strategic hiring solutions that support business growth. The incumbent will oversee end-to-end recruitment, talent pipeline development, employer branding initiatives, and recruitment process improvements to ensure a robust and efficient talent acquisition strategy across the markets.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Delivery
- Manage the full recruitment cycle including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer management and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing strategies aligned to each market.
- Lead recruitment focusing on retail positions, ensuring timely fulfilment of critical roles.
- Ensure alignment with regional and global HR policies, compensation guidelines and approval processes.
- Drive proactive talent mapping and maintain strong talent pipeline for key business-critical roles.
HR Business Partnering
- Support store leaders on people-related topics such as team structure, succession planning, promotions, mobility and capability development.
- Contribute to HR projects such as organization changes, culture and engagement initiatives, talent development programs, and regional HR alignment.
- Handle employees’ enquiries professionally and escalate complex cases when necessary.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary recruitment advisor to business leaders across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines.
- Facilitate regular updates and market insights to hiring managers regarding candidate availability, hiring challenges, and progress of active searches.
- Provide training or guidance to hire managers on interview techniques and best practices.
Sourcing & Employer Branding
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels including job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, partnership and headhunting.
- Strengthen the Company’s employer branding through recruitment marketing, career events, collaborations with institutes and consistent digital presence.
- Manage relationships with external partners such as recruitment agencies and educational institutions.
Recruitment Operations & Compliance
- Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with local labor legislation.
- Maintain accurate and timely data in ATS and recruitment dashboards.
- Track recruitment KPIs (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, etc.).
- Drive continuous improvement in hiring workflows to enhance candidate experience and process efficiency.
