MIU MIU Visual Merchandising Manager

JOB PURPOSE
The Visual Merchandising Manager carries out the fit-out of shop windows and interiors of the assigned geographic area in accordance with the guidelines and creative inputs defined by the Fashion Coordinator, to increase sales and based on the brand image and company products.
He/she ensures the implementation of the Headquarters’ guidelines by the Visual teams operating at Subsidiaries and/or in the single markets and/or stores of the relevant geographic area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepares fitout proposals for shop windows and interiors, adjusting them to the type and merchandising of single stores, in compliance with the guidelines defined by the Fashion Coordinator from time to time;
- Carries out periodical store fitouts in his/her area based on the timing defined by the Retail Director as well as on sales trend, market peculiarities, customer target and reference competitors;
- Tightly cooperates with Retail Merchandising for the implementation of fitouts fostering customer traffic and sales growth through the identification of appropriate outfits for the market, the customers and the season based on product in stock and in accordance with the guidelines defined by the Fashion Coordinator;
- Conveys the Fashion Coordinator’s guidelines and inputs to the Visual teams operating locally in the markets of the Area of his/her competence, through a periodical correction of pictures as well as through visits to stores and ensuring his/her presence during the implementation of the main fitouts, seasonal window changes and new openings;
- Monitors the correctness and appropriateness of fitouts at stores in his/her Area through a constant and timely check of pictures sent by the local Visual Team, in cooperation with Retail Merchandising;
- Provides appropriate indications to the Store Manager and/or In-Store Visual Merchandiser to ensure fitout maintenance and the necessary daily interventions;
- Carries out Show Room fitouts for seasonal Collection presentation, following the indications provided by the Fashion Coordinator and the Collection Merchandiser;
- Cooperates with the Communication & PR Function to the implementation of In Store Events and Press Presentations;
- Cooperates with the Retail Engineering Function, giving a feedback on the condition of shop windows and interiors, display elements and objects.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Solid experience in visual merchandising, preferably within the luxury retail sector across multiple locations
Strong knowledge of fashion and trends, particularly in the luxury segment.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for high-quality visual presentation.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in visual merchandising software/tools is a plus.
