PRADA Retail Trainer, North Europe (Fixed-Term Contract 12 months)

JOB PURPOSE
Develops, implements and delivers Retail/Store Training programmes to all sales staff within their geographical area, using training as a key lever to support business development and achieve the Store's strategic objectives.Actively contributes to the development of store team capabilities and performance against key Store KPIs (e.g. Sales, VPT, UPT, Customer Experience, etc.). Ensures continuous alignment with the Headquarters Retail Training Team regarding local training programmes and development opportunities.
Start Date: Ideally August/September 2026, however, we will consider candidates with longer notice periods.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- In collaboration with local business support departments (Retail, HR, Marketing,
- etc.) and Headquarters Training leadership, identifies local training needs for
- store personnel, with the goal of developing effective and efficient training
- programs;
- Creates, develops and implements training programs using a variety of delivery
- modes (in-person, digital platforms, gamification apps, one to one, one to many, zoom, exercises, role play, etc.);
- Trains store staff to ensure the best Customer Experience, in line with Corporate
- and Brand standards;
- Trains store staff, ensuring proper implementation of the Client Journey (Human
- Touch, Brand DNA, Clienteling, etc.);
- Supports Retail Merchandisers in the delivery of Product Training;
- Maintains a widespread presence on the sales floor, supporting store teams
- through continuous observation and targeted feedback on customer interaction
- behaviors;
- Is part of the onboarding process for the store’s new joiner, training the new
- resources together with HR department on the various content;
- Monitors the effectiveness of Training activities, both through analysis of
- quantitative and qualitative KPIs (e.g.: Net Promoter Score), and through direct
- observation on the sales floor and feedback from Retail management;
- Provides continuous feedback to Head Office Line Managers/HR and Store
- Management on the progress of the team and individual members;
- Manages budgets and costs related to store training;
- Works effectively with digital tools and LMS platform
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Strong training facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to engage and develop teams through classroom, virtual and on the job learning experiences.
Proven ability to deliver impactful shop floor coaching through observation, feedback and behavioural development techniques.
Strong understanding of luxury retail client experience, clienteling, selling techniques and brand storytelling.
Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with different functions.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret retail KPIs, training effectiveness metrics, CRM performance and customer engagement indicators to drive business results.
Experience implementing training plans and onboarding programmes.
Proficiency in digital learning tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), virtual training platforms and training engagement applications.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, inspire and develop employees at all levels of the organisation.
