JOB PURPOSE

 

As Ecommerce Tech Lead your primary purpose is to support and contribute to the successful development and implementation of cutting-edge technology solutions related to our e-commerce platform.

You will be an essential part of the technology team, helping to shape the direction of our e-commerce initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your will have a pivotal role in advancing our e-commerce capabilities, supporting our technological advancements and contributing to growth and success of our business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

You will have a crucial role in overseeing and managing the technical aspects of our ecommerce platform.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise and Leadership: demonstrate a strong understanding of e-commerce technologies, framework and best practices. Utilize your knowledge to make informed decisions, solve technical challenges and provide guidance to the development team. Collaborate with cross-functional team to optimize our e-commerce platform’s performance.
  • Development and Implementation: collaborate with internal and external teams to lead the development and deployment of new e-commerce features, enhancements and integrations. Ensuring the solutions align with business requirements, incorporating best-in-class technologies for secure payment processing and ensuring to meet high quality standards.
  • Integration and APIs: Coordinate with other internal systems or third-party platforms to integrate data and functionalities with ecommerce platform. This include payment gateway, CRM, internal custom applications, order manager system, etc.
  • Documentation and Communication: Forster a knowledge-sharing environment making sure the ecommerce technical solutions are well documented and updated over time. Communicate challenges and technical updates effectively.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

 

2+ years of experience in similar roles

Good knowledge and previous experience with SAP Commerce Cloud

Good knowledge on RESTful paradigm and object oriented programming languages such as Java

Communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs and integrations

Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to addressing challenges and seizing opportunities in the ecommerce landscape

Good adaptability to changes in an ever-evolving digital landscape

Hands-on experience of integration with main Payment System Provider is considered a plus
