JOB PURPOSE

The ideal candidate will join the Datacenter Team, working on the Prada on prem datacenter based on Exadata technology. The candidate will collaborate with the Area Technical Lead to solve incidents and monitor machines and performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain space and users licenses on DB Oracle and MSSQL
• Use of RMAN for DB Oracle backup/restore
• Write shell bash or similar (Linux)
• Tuning SQL query on Oracle and MSSQL
• Provide support to the applications team
• Open and manage SR on Oracle Support system
• Write procedures with PL/SQL

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Deep knowledge of OS Linux, and OS Windows Server

Proficient use of Oracle RMAN, Oracle ASM and Oracle RAC

Basis of Database Oracle and MSSQL

Preferred versions: Oracle from 11g to 19c and MSSQL from 2012 to 2019

Fundamentals of Data Guard and Always-on

Good relational and problem solving skills

Good knowledge of the English language
