JOB PURPOSE


Reporting to the Group Consolidation Director, the role contributes with a high degree of autonomy to the preparation of the Prada Group’s consolidated financial statements in compliance with international accounting standards (IFRSs), as well as other types of financial reporting.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, liaising both with the Group’s administrative departments to ensure high-quality data input and with other Finance (AFC) functions to guarantee the proper execution of processes;
  • Independently manages the assigned consolidation areas;
  • Independently prepares sections of the notes to the financial statements;
  • Analyzes the accounting impacts of extraordinary transactions (acquisitions, disposals, mergers, corporate reorganizations);
  • Applies and interprets IFRS principles;
  • Supports subsidiaries in accounting for lease contracts in accordance with IFRS 16;
  • Prepares the cash flow statement and reconciles Group equity;
  • Prepares documentation and data for impairment testing;
  • Interacts with auditors for the relevant areas;
  • Contributes to the improvement of closing processes and the strengthening of the internal control system;
  • Supports digitalization, automation, and reporting standardization projects. 

 

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS


Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field; 
2-4 years of experience in an audit firm or in a consolidated financial reporting department; 
Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards; 
Good command of English; 
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; 
Knowledge of Tagetik Corporate and Group Reporting is a plus; 
Ability to work under pressure, with targets and deadlines; 
Reliability and autonomy; 
Leadership skills.
