JOB PURPOSE

 

Reporting to the Head of Security the EMEA Retail Security Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of robust Asset Protection Program and Retail Security policies and procedures within the Security Department of Prada Group.
This role requires an analytical and detailed leader with a strong background in risk analysis, profit and loss management, shrinkage calculation criteria, security technology standards, fraud patterns, process-mapping abilities to improve and enhance processes and procedures
 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•    Define, share and execute an Asset Protection program strategy for the EMEA Region Retail Stores, with the aim of reducing losses for Prada. 
•    Perform consistent Risk assessments in order to identify threats and implement effective countermeasures.   
•    Implement and provide to top management comprehensive reports with trend analysis, metrics, key performance indicators, field asset protection team performance summary
•    Conduct through analysis of point of sale transactional data and other systems to identify patterns, trends, and exception for investigation or potential internal and external fraudulent activity 
•    Contribute to the development and enhancement of data mining, monitoring and analytics to improve existing strategies 
•    Support with internal and external investigations providing actionable data and offering investigative support using available resources and technologies. 
•    Perform special projects or additional asset protection duties as requested by the Head of Group Security
•    Liaison between Finance, Accounting, and Inventory Team
•    Collaborate with Loss Prevention and other retail partners to develop predictive analysis and practical solutions to challenges currently or evolving risk to business 
•    Participate in industry leading benchmarking surveys and explore quantitative data to assist with developing or evolving strategic priorities  
•    Comfortable taking initiatives and being resource/entrepreneurial
•    Liaise with local authorities and industry committees to remain alert to local external security threats
•    Build and manage a Team of Retail Security professionals, creating a supportive and talent enhancing working environment
•    Contribute in  fostering a culture of security awareness and honesty through positive communications and messaging 
•    Implement Retail Security Policies & Procedures and relevant training for store
•    Implement a store auditing program to ensure inventory is processed, handled and monitored appropriately
•    Gathers information and data from all forms of criminal activity (both in stores and external) 
 

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Security
Proficient in English written and spoken
Previous experience developing business cases for executive management
Strong financial and business acumen
Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Access, Power BI, and Power Point) programs is required
A hands-on problem solver with a willingness to work in the details and finds opportunities to change processes to drive efficiency
Resiliency and flexibility are key to be successful
Ability to work collaboratively across several cross functional teams
People management skills 
Availability to travel to Italy and abroad 40% of the time
Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
Excellent knowledge of English and Italian is a must. French, German or Spanish knowledge is a plus
Good verbal and written and communication skills
Good organizational and leadership skills
Committed and reliable, proactive attitude, problem solving spirit
