PRADA Retail Manager

JOB PURPOSE
To develop the business of directly operated stores in the assigned area, ensuring sustainable growth and performance. To maximize sales and ensure profitability through careful management of operating expenses, while guaranteeing excellent customer service and consistently promoting the Group's values and image. To develop and oversee the store structure, managing personnel and coordinating all operational activities in accordance with Headquarters guidelines. To act as a passionate Brand Ambassador, conveying Brand values to the store teams and developing the business within the directly managed stores in your area, acting as the business leader of your store network. To be the business owner, accountable for achieving successful overall store performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
BUSINESS AND RETAIL
- Maximize sales and ensure profitability through careful management of operating expenses, seamlessly executing all activities to achieve targets.
- Guarantee excellence in the client experience, leading by example and placing the client above all.
- Share objectives with Store Managers and ensure follow-ups by proposing and implementing corrective measures when needed.
- Propose and implement actions to support and increase sales, including through synergies among stores.
- Communicate and share with store staff the necessary actions to take in case of complaints, special requests, replacements, etc., and personally take action in critical situations.
- Properly manage all local VICs, propose tailored actions, and develop the client portfolio in local stores.
- Ensure events and promotional activities are implemented to grow the customer base and sales for each store, proposing the most appropriate actions for each location.
- Be responsible for implementing all processes and procedures concerning product management (delivery, stockroom management, handling, etc.).
- Ensure an impeccable store image inside and outside, intervening promptly when necessary and liaising with the relevant functions.
- Monitor the implementation of stockroom and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain a constant and effective information flow between stores and other functions—especially regarding products, sales, and customers—to effectively meet market needs, particularly with Retail Merchandising and Visual Merchandising functions.
TEAM
- A motivating and inspiring leader, you mentor your team by working closely with them and set them up for success through succession planning and internal growth opportunities.
- By managing staff and coordinating operational activities in line with guidelines, you oversee and develop the store structure.
- Promote cooperation and synergy among Retail Operations, Retail Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, and Communication teams to deliver unified messages to stores and identify business development opportunities.
- Ensure ongoing communication between the Company, Store Managers, and store staff by organizing and attending monthly and/or weekly Store Manager meetings.
- Develop and coach Store Managers.
- Manage store personnel and define recruitment, training, development, and retention plans for sales staff.
- Ensure the recruitment of the most talented individuals and build the strongest store management team in the luxury goods industry.
- Ensure grooming standards established by HQ are communicated and upheld.
- Collaborate with Retail functions, Communication, and PR departments to achieve sales targets and implement agreed strategies.
