JOB PURPOSE
You are the Store Manager’s alter ego and act as their deputy, taking leadership of the store whenever required.
As an Assistant Store Manager within the Outlet channel, you are a passionate Brand Ambassador and a business leader, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving the overall commercial and operational performance of the store.
You are a driven business owner, with a strong focus on sales performance, productivity and operational excellence. You support the Store Manager in analyzing business results, identifying opportunities and developing concrete action plans to achieve and exceed financial and commercial targets.
You guarantee an extraordinary Client experience while adapting the service approach to the specific dynamics of the Outlet environment. By being present on the sales floor and leading by example, you ensure that Clients are always at the center while maximizing conversion opportunities and commercial performance.
You are a motivating and inspiring leader, able to engage and coach the team to achieve business objectives, improve individual performance and maximize productivity.
You support the management of all operational activities related to the store, ensuring that Company policies and procedures are correctly implemented and that stock, inventory and store operations are managed efficiently and in compliance with corporate guidelines.
RESPONSABILITIES
Leading the Business
- Support the Store Manager in defining and implementing business strategies to achieve and exceed financial targets, maximize sales and drive the overall performance of the Outlet;
- Analyze daily, weekly and monthly business results, identifying opportunities and areas for improvement;
- Monitor and drive key performance indicators, including sales, conversion rate, average transaction value, units per transaction, productivity and other relevant Outlet KPIs;
- Translate business analysis into concrete and actionable plans for the team;
- Coach and support the Store team in achieving individual and collective targets, maximizing cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across product categories;
- Ensure a strong focus on sales floor productivity, traffic conversion and effective client engagement;
- Make commercial recommendations to the Store Manager and relevant functions based on business performance, product availability and local market opportunities;
- Monitor product performance and stock levels, identifying opportunities to maximize sell-through and productivity;
- Be constantly up to date on market trends, local competitors and Outlet dynamics, sharing relevant insights with the Store Manager and relevant functions;
- Foster Omni Channel awareness among the team and encourage the use of digital tools to support the Client journey and achieve business objectives;
- Foster product knowledge within the team and collaborate with relevant functions to identify product and collection training needs.
Team Management
- Act as a strong team motivator, promoting collaboration, engagement and a positive and energetic working environment;
- Support the Store Manager in organizing the team efficiently according to business needs, traffic patterns and commercial priorities;
- Coach the team on the sales floor, providing regular feedback and supporting the development of individual performance;
- Ensure that team members understand and consistently work towards the relevant business and performance KPIs;
- Lead by example in delivering a high level of Client service, commercial awareness and attention to product;
- Actively participate in the recruitment process, including market mapping, profile definition and interviews, together with or on behalf of the Store Manager;
- Support the Store Manager in identifying talents within the team and contributing to their development and internal growth;
- Ensure that all team members are properly trained on Company policies, procedures, systems and digital tools;
- Support the onboarding and integration of new employees;
- Promote accountability and ownership within the team through effective delegation and follow-up;
- Ensure effective communication of Company initiatives, commercial priorities and relevant business updates.
Client Development
- Place the Client at the center of every interaction, creating a welcoming and engaging environment;
- Ensure that the team delivers a high standard of service while adapting the approach to the fast-paced and high-volume dynamics of the Outlet environment;
- Lead by example to maximize client engagement and conversion opportunities;
- Foster a client-centric mindset and encourage the development of long-term relationships with both local and international Clients;
- Support the team in identifying opportunities for client acquisition and retention;
- Promote relevant clientelling activities to increase customer loyalty and encourage repeat visits;
- Guarantee a high level of Client satisfaction and ensure the consistent execution of the Company Selling Ceremony;
- Monitor Client feedback and proactively identify opportunities to improve the overall Client experience.
Store & Operational Management
- Support the Store Manager in ensuring that the store environment, visual display and product presentation are attractive, commercial and aligned with Company guidelines;
- Ensure that product replenishment and stock availability support sales opportunities and maximize productivity on the sales floor;
- Guarantee the correct implementation of Company procedures related to cash activities, inventory, stock management, logistics and reporting;
- Support the efficient management of stockroom organization and cooperation between front and back of house;
- Monitor and support the execution of stock movements, replenishment activities and inventory processes;
- Ensure compliance with inventory control requirements and all activities related to fiscal stock inventory;
- Support the Store Manager in ensuring proper care and protection of Company assets;
- Promote efficiency, accuracy and operational excellence across all store activities;
- Ensure that staff grooming and overall store presentation are always in line with Company standards;
- Promote strong synergy and cooperation between front of house and back of house teams;
- Ensure full compliance with Company policies, procedures and corporate guidelines.
Local Market & Commercial Opportunities
- Support the Store Manager in identifying local commercial opportunities that can contribute to increasing store traffic and sales performance;
- Monitor local competitors and relevant Outlet activities, sharing insights and best practices with the relevant functions;
- Following Company guidelines, support the identification of opportunities for local initiatives and events when relevant to the Outlet business;
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and relevant stakeholders to maximize the commercial impact of local initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to drive sales, productivity and store performance;
Solid experience in monitoring and managing retail KPIs and translating business results into effective action plans;
Strong leadership and people management skills, with a hands-on and coaching-oriented approach;
Experience in managing high-volume and fast-paced retail environments;
Strong understanding of stock management, inventory processes and store operations;
Ability to balance Client experience, commercial performance and operational excellence;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
A proactive, flexible and solution-oriented mindset;
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills;
Passion for luxury, fashion and the Brand;
Fluency in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
