Assistant C&B Manager

JOB PURPOSE
The incumbent is responsible for managing labor cost budgeting and monitoring, and compensation analysis, program and processes design, to ensure local initiatives and global guidelines are well implemented.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with local HR to prepare budget and forecast for labor cost and HR related costs
- Administer total labor cost budgeting and forecasting in Masterfile, and prepare HQ review templates (Manpower planning, AW format, labor cost development, Other HR Expenses, etc.)
- Review the budget and forecast proposal and analysis with local National C&B Manager and country HR Director and make revision accordingly
- Work with HQ HR Cost Control department to ensure correct data load of the budget data in Budget system
- Make revisions as needed with business plan changes or top-down instructions, until the budget is finally approved
- Monthly Track and analyze cost actual spending for labor cost and HR related cost, versus business situation in line with local Finance/HQ HR Cost Control department schedule
- Work with National C&B Manager and country HR Director to come up with solution to control overspending, as needed
- Similar Forecast process for budget update during the year
- Generate the employee personal data and salary/benefits/commission data from HR related system and fill in the survey data collection template
- Work with survey vendor consultant to review job matching for data validation as needed and manage salary survey vendors to ensure quality market data is obtained for benchmark
- Support salary and commission/incentive structure design and analysis
- Work with C&B manager in compensation project/program, processes design (i.e. compensation review, bonus scheme, commission plan, etc.), to be in line with group direction and fit for local market prevalence
- Collaborate with retail functions and BPs to initiate, simulate, propose and monitor incentive programs for business needs. Make sure the incentive is well communicated to payroll vendor, to be in line with group direction and fit for local market prevalence
- Ad hoc mini-survey to understand market practice in compensation and benefit areas, e.g. fresh graduate offer, merit increase projection, probation practice, etc
- Coordinate with local HR partners, independently work out China HR scorecard reporting on quarterly basis or ad-hoc needs
- Work out productivity analysis or documents to HR & Business Functions
- Other reports per business needs
- Involve HR Digital Transformation Journey, to be familiar with related HR systems
- Be able to manage employee data entry and advanced reporting through HR related systems in utilizing effectively and comfortably
- Work with Group HR and IT to further enhance the HR systems on data management, reporting and business analysis support
- Ad hoc C&B policy review due to government policy change, company policy enhancement, global policy alignment, etc
- Involve/Support other C&B or HR Operations tasks and projects per needs
- Other projects assigned by manager
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Education: University degree or above
Experience: 8 years of C&B experience preferred, especially in Compensation and data analysis professionalism
Special Knowledge: familiar with HR business data and process, strong excel, good English writing/ reading proficiency
C&B working experience in Fashion Industry is preferable
