Financial Statement Manager

JOB PURPOSE

The candidate will lead a team of 3 people and will be responsible for the statutory financial reporting of Prada spa and some subsidiary companies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinates the final phase of the monthly closing process, ensuring the accuracy of data inputted into the group reporting system in terms of correspondence with the accounting system.
• Is responsible for the production and accuracy of all externally relevant financial reports: balance sheets, cash flows, mandatory reporting for statistical purposes.
• Collaborates with the Consolidated Budget and Financial Planning office for monthly data analysis.
• Coordinates the collection of data requested by the audit firm and serves as the main internal reference within the company regarding the separate financial statements.
• Is responsible for implementing certain internal controls aimed at ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Collaborates with General Accounting to identify the correct accounting representation of accounting phenomena according to international or national accounting principles.
• Provides financial reports and ad hoc presentations upon request.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Master's degree in economics-related disciplines and 5-8 years of work experience.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles.
Knowledge of finance processes within multinational groups.
Excellent proficiency in English language (CEFR C1).

Preferred qualifications include:
Experience gained in audit firms.
Experience gained in the finance function of major multinational groups.
