Business Support Assistant Manager

JOB PURPOSE
The RETAIL BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST possesses both technical and functional understanding of the business processes and will be a key person in the implementation and maintenance of retail / logistics systems. He will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, refining, translating, and finally documenting business requirements from business teams to help improve them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Retail Business and Logistics teams (e.g., sales, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and production) to understand current workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
- Map existing processes and design optimized workflows leveraging SAP supply chain modules.
- Advise on best practices for utilizing system functionalities to streamline retail and logistics operations.
- Ensuring retail systems operate smoothly by troubleshooting issues, managing system upgrades, and providing training and support to user (systems such as POS, Back of House, CRM …)
- Conducting detailed analysis and evaluation of retail business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Overseeing the implementation of new retail systems or updates to existing retail systems (POS, B.o.H, CRM, reporting tool …)
- Test and evaluate new functions before their deployment in production environment.
- Identify, analyze and document discrepancies between the retail systems and the business requirements, and ensure that appropriate adjustments are made.
- Act as a point of contact for retail and logistics teams, providing guidance and support on technical inquiries.
- Develop and deliver end-user documentation and training to ensure effective system usage.
- Collaborate with data teams to create meaningful Power BI / B.O reports and dashboards within SAP or related tools.
- Manage the defect resolution process in an efficient way and managing expectations for related re-testing efforts.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
A bachelor’s degree (or a related field)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle retail systems implementation such as POS, stock take system, B.o.H management system, CRM …
Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring at least one of the following systems: POS, replenishment system, stock take system, SAP SD
Strong understanding of sales and distribution business processes.
Understanding of accounting business processes
Experience with SAP recommended.
Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
Experience with data migration and integration.
