JOB PURPOSE  

The Finance Manager of Industrial Subsidiaries oversees and coordinates the Finance function of some companies controlled by the Parent Company, specialized in production and in supply chain management, ensuring the connection between local accounting departments and the Group Finance function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Functional supervision over the accounting managers of some foreign subsidiaries
• Guarantee compliance with group accounting and tax policies
• Plan cash flows and coordinate financial support by the parent company to the subsidiary
• Maintain relations with external auditors, representing the parent company
• Co-ordinate local accounting departments with the other staff functions at group level: controlling, treasury, legal department, tax department, corporate affairs, information technology
• If necessary, provide direct support to local accounting departments ensuring respect of deadlines for the monthly closing of financial statements, in particular in preparatory activities to group reporting

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Master's degree in economics and at least 5 years' work experience. Experience gained in the fashion industry or auditing firms is a plus.

Good knowledge of the English language (CEFR C1),

Knowledge of general accounting technique

Knowledge of financial statements preparation techniques and of international accounting standards

Knowledge of finance processes within multinational groups

Basic knowledge of VAT and direct tax compliance
