JOB PURPOSE

 

Supports the division in the preparation of budget and forecast defining, based on the CEO’s indications, cost and margin targets by product family and for manufacturing structures.
Knows the economic and managerial trend and performance of the Division, all business indicators and provides detailed data analyses (cost data, economic data, overheads, production KPIs, operating results, etc.). Analyses differences vs budget.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

 

• Searches for and collects information required to prepare budgets and forecasts
• Prepares reports, analyzes Division results, compares margins and costs incurred and Budget objectives monthly and identifies the causes for any differences (changes to RM prices, contract manufacturing prices, RM consumptions, internal department efficiency, up to single item details).
• Prepares and discusses weekly reports for internal production plants
• Verifies seasonally that standard costs are consistent with set targets and guarantees Budget profitability
• Monitors finished products and raw materials inventories on a weekly basis to verify compliance with stock objectives; monitors recovery actions;
• Monitors sample collection costs based on the parameters specified in the budget itself
• Monitors on a weekly basis the timing of finished product deliveries to our warehouses, required to meet the commercial needs of the various distribution channels
• Monitors product defectiveness monthly
• Analyzes the management income statements
• Facilitates the exchange of information and communication with line functions
• Shares with the department manager the analysis produced through periodic meetings, supporting in the resolution of specific area problems
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of processes and analyzes carried out
• Analyzes investment proposals and calculates related financial KPIs (ROI; payback period; Make or Buy)
 

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
 

Degree in economics, statistics, management engineering
Good knowledge of the English language
Good knowledge of the Office package
Knowledge of SAP, Stealth, BO
Ability to work under pressure, by objective and deadline
Reliable and autonomous approach
