JOB PURPOSE
Manage strategy and relations with talent for promotional purposes, including but not limited to: actors, models, musicians, directors, influencers, artists, photographers, art directors, key editors, stylists, tech companies representatives (i.e. Meta, TikTok and other tech partners) etc.
The Head of Prada Talent Relations will work directly with the Talent Relations and Special projects Director. The position is within the Communication Department and collaborates with Prada Celebrity Team, Public Relations, Image Events, Content Production, Prada Retail, Marketing and Analytics Departments as well as the Creative Directors. The position will also involve coordinating with regional Marketing & PR teams to define global, regional and local communication strategies related to Talent Relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage the budget and recommend spending priorities which maximize the return on investment
- Build and properly manage relations with talent and the agencies that represent them for global markets.
- Coordinate with the communications offices of foreign affiliates to monitor their contacts with local talent in compliance with the target defined by the HQ.
- Constantly monitors talents in the sectors of interest: searching for talent who could be of interest to Prada and secure brand ambassadors, campaign talent and opportunities to dress celebrities
- Coordinate lists and travel for events and advertising campaigns
- Lease with legal team for contract drafting
- Work with the social media team on an influencer and content creator plan across different social channels
- Centrally manage talent product orders for seedings and promotion at worldwide level with team: filling orders and sending them to the Production Offices, monitor the progress of the order with respect to the established delivery times, coordinate the shipping activity of the product to the agency or PR office of the foreign subsidiary.
- Manage social media influencer team and assume responsibility for necessary KPls
- Draft monthly reports in conjunction with internal team and supplier
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Master degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in talent relations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead the change.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and maintain a high level of rigor in execution.
Proven skills in leading and managing a team.
