IT POS Retail Business Analyst

JOB PURPOSE

The IT Retail Business Analyst will work in the evolution and maintenance of the Group POS IT systems, with particular focus on Retail Processes supported by the POS Oracle Xstore solution and its integration with other systems and applications.

In this role, reporting directly to the Delivery Manager of the applications team, the resource will be in charge of managing the Retail IT systems, participation in retail development projects and with a consulting role towards the business in the use of the retail systems of colleagues of business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collection of business requests and requirements analysis of POS system and in-Store’s products.
• Propose application solutions to satisfy requests.
• Support business staff in the definition of operating procedures and in the use of the Retail system.
• Participate as an analyst in developmental projects in the Retail area.
• Project testing and delivery phase management.
• Production of documentation and procedures to support projects and application developments.
• Creating training material and being able to hold training session to end users.
• POS system delivery management.
• Manage the relationship with suppliers.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Degree in engineering or information technology or similar

3+ years’ proven experience in national/international IT Retail team and in a project environment

Proficiency in written and spoken English

Ability to develop functional specifications

Good knowledge of POS IT solution, Oracle XStore preferred
