JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a qualified DevOps Engineer to join our IT Operations & Application Delivery team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of enterprise application environments, with a strong focus on ensuring high standards of performance, stability, and security. The role also entails active involvement in the modernization of delivery processes and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management and maintenance of enterprise application environments in on-premises mode.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of web servers and related caching and content delivery modules.
• Administration of Content Delivery Network (CDN) solutions, focusing on caching, security, and delivery optimization.
• Design, management, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for software lifecycle automation.
• Configuration and management of application integration platforms and API management.
• Use of tools for software lifecycle management and code versioning.
• Monitoring and analysis of application and infrastructure logs through observability and security platforms.
• Coordination with development, operations, and business teams to ensure an efficient and collaborative workflow.
• Contribution to activity planning, risk identification, and proactive project management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Experience, even brief, in managing application environments.

Basic knowledge of web servers and caching/distribution technologies.

Familiarity with automation and CI/CD tools.

Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).

Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).

Experience with software lifecycle management tools.

Analytical and troubleshooting skills in distributed systems.

Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and learning attitude.

Good command of Italian and English.

Excellent proficiency in Office tools.
