JOB PURPOSE

 

The Production Manager organizes the planning of the medium/long-term production of the central pastry laboratory, ensuring the optimization of resources and raw material. He studies and implements new projects related to international development.

 


RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Plans and coordinates the production of the pastry shop ensuring that the product meets the production and quality standards set by the company
  • Defines medium / long term production priorities based on the analysis of pastry shops orders and general sales trends 
  • Production optimization
  • Identifies, monitors and foresees  production cost and waste 
  • It strives to solve problems arising from the production process related to correct functioning of production machinery or to the different preparations techniques 
  • Is responsible for the management of raw materials orders and the correct organization of the warehouse 
  • Collaborates in the setting and updating of product manuals
  • Collaborates with the Operations for the definition of the food cost 
  • Is responsible of the efficient implementation and compliance of the health and safety regulations of to the laboratory’s activities 
  • Manages the implementations of projects related to new products in terms of feasibility, timing and production planning 
  • Deals with the study and implementation of new projects development 

 


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

 

Proven experience in a similar position preferably in international contests 
Degree preferably in technical engineering and/or food 
Fluency in English
Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills 
Good relational skills 
Ability to work under stress 
Flexibility
