JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Retail Area Manager, the In Store Operations Supervisor is responsible for effectively managing all aspects of the Church’s Paris stores operations, by ensuring all procedures and back of house management, repairs and e-commerce are managed to guarantee efficiency in store to support business and the highest standard to support the customer experience.
Assist the Store Operations team with the implementation of all operating activities in store according to corporate guidelines and in support to sales, policies, procedures and KPI’s.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory management
• Stock take: Responsible for Stock take and cycle counts planning, organization, and correct execution, including reconciliations of stock discrepancies reporting to SM and A.
• Policies Adherence: Ensure policies and procedures concerning inventory management are clearly communicated to the store team and all are actively compliant.
• Stock movement: Assess actions to be taken with receiving issues, communicating efficiently with Logistic Store Operations team. Supervise all activities with stock movement including transfers, consignment, repairs, etc. Support the Store Manager
• E-Commerce: to ensure that e-commerce operations achieving lead time and refusal rate in line with company KPI and delivery and packaging in line with brand image
• Product Care: Lead by example, ensuring the team operate with the highest level of care and respect for the product in store.
• Space Organization: To effectively use space and stock in the back of house to maximize productivity. To ensure organizational standards to maximize efficiency in store and product care.
• Proactively flag any overstock concern to the Store Managers and the Store Operations team.
• Support with any stock related activity and request from Marketing, PR, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Event team and any other department
Policies and procedures
• Knowledge: Lead by example by showing impeccable knowledge of company procedures, policies, and corporate guidelines.
• Adherence: Support the Store Managers with the implementation of policies, procedures, and corporate guidelines to streamline and safeguard the stores.
• Training: Support the HQ Store Operations team in providing ongoing training to ensure the most updated policies and procedures are cascaded to the store team. To support the roll out of new projects related to the Operations activities (new app, systems etc.)
• Communication: Proactively communicate with the Store Operations team to flag concerns regarding non-compliance situations and any related escalations. Ensure company policies and procedures are correctly communicated and duly respected
Store Administration and After Sales/Repairs
• Policies Adherence: Ensure policies and procedures concerning cash management are clearly communicated to all store staff by SM, for efficient running of the business, ensuring cash handling procedures (opening and closing procedures, safe remittance procedures etc.) are respected, appropriately documented and discrepancies are investigated duly and reported to Store Manager.
• After Sales and repairs: Make sure the repairs acceptance is correctly documented and team properly follow the company flow to ensure service standards (docket form, policy and logistic)
• Stationary and Packaging: making sure in stores stock and order of packaging, cartoons and stationary is in line with the internal consumption avoiding over budget
• Audit: Make sure the Administration audit is correctly archived according to the local compliance
Store Environment
• Store Maintenance: Ensure the store building and all internal areas are maintained to the highest standard both front and back of house, including responsibility for store Housekeeping. Ensure smooth communication with the relevant departments in regards of any construction and renovation project.
• IT: Ensure proper technical conditions for IT facilities leasing with the relevant department where necessary. Monitor company Apps adoption in store and provide adequate training if necessary.
• Health & Safety: Ensure the guidelines provided by the Health & Safety department are strictly followed in store, ensuring that any locally required legislation and processes are adhered to. Ensure that employees are registered/archived on the online H&S platform (retail and outlet stores) on a monthly basis and follow up with SM if compliance not in line. Maintain an update First Aid list and organise yearly refresher/new representatives training for the store employees.
• Security: Ensure the guidelines provided by the Security team are strictly followed in store to guarantee goods and people security by working in partnership with security company where applicable.
Team supervising
• Supervising: sharing feedback to SM, to support their stores and teams to reach fullest potential while inspiring a culture of excellence and teamwork. Supporting in exceed KPI targets while contributing to the overall success of the store.
• Planning: support the SM to guarantee that the store has substantial operational support and BOH tasks are optimized to match operational demands.
